Hello from India, from the world of street food, famous historical monuments, diverse culture, and colorful people. India is beyond imagination and I am so happy to be part of this beautiful world in its own. India is changing and so the style but the exclusive flavor (desiness) will always be there. I was in Delhi for my little sister’s wedding and my post is about the look I wore on my first day in Delhi. Delhi is heaven for accessories and I feel privileged living close by. I wore a simple striped maxi dress and accessorized it for the Delhi Street style look and picked few accessories and styled this look to go with my persona and India’s street lifestyle. With much love for Indian scarfs (dupatta) and colorful bags (jhola), I created this look. Details of the outfit are here.
Colorful Bag: Janpath, Delhi
Kolahpuri: somewhere in Delhi
Pairing this maxi and jhola was a pretty good deal. I have used all my gifts in this post. Jhola is a gift from baby sister and this scarf is from friend’s mother (aunt). I like giving and taking gifts. Well, who doesn’t? Gifts are to be treasured.
I added a black Bindi, a gold colored hand cuff, earrings (Jhumkis), coin necklace and these black flat chappals (Kolhapuris) as ultimate finisher to create this look. Hope you like it. Many more posts from India are coming up so please stay tuned and until then keep it uber stylish.
