Girls love Skirts. You agree, right? Skirts are made to fit any shape and size. They are versatile and that’s what make you fall in love with them. Skirts came into existence to stay forever. The usual and most common kind of skirts are short and sexy which show off your beautiful legs. On the contrary, long and classy skirts are for girls to look tall and pretty.

Nevertheless, mid length skirts are in the top list of fashion these days. Be it leg hugging pencil skirt or the skater style or the A line shaped skirt. They look lovely in all patterns. I am petite and hence found out that the short and pencil skirts look best on me. Here I tried two styles and I hope you like them.
Photo shoot was fun and the place I chose was saddi Delhi. During my last trip to India, precisely to Dilwalo ki Dilli (New Delhi), I had this fun shoot. India Gate was a perfect place for it. Clean roads, fewer crowds (of course it was a weekday) and the best of light, space and obviously the India Gate itself. That place reminds me of my college days where we used to come for gossips after lectures, to have ice cream and to feel patriotic.

Look 1 – Sleek and Sexy:  The pencil skirt which is so classy in its own that you don’t need to accessorize it much. This Zara skirt looked fab and was easy on my pocket also so I picked it immediately. I combined it with a dark blue color lacy top which rocked with it completely.

To make it look perfect I added this sea green neck piece to it which was not at all over done for it. Instead the color of the necklace complimented the dress to the core.

I carried this rust color blazer with this attire to give the grace needed. The blazer shone and I managed to look classy.

Those Nude colored heels can never go wrong. I added this to the attire to avoid a color overdose.

Look 2 – Casual and Trendy: Pleated skirts can totally transform the image of a dress and make it look more interesting and so I tried this style on my friend. I picked this zebra print mid length pleated skirt and paired it with a black top with polka dots on its net sleeves. I combined the two patterns (zebra print and polka dots) and it did magic to this attire. And, my friend did complete justice to this dress by looking super cute and hot at the same time. I loved the style and it appeared to be made for her body-type. The idea of pairing it up with these blue shoes was an icing on the cake which gave it a chic look.

The shiny black and pearl necklace flattered the look of the dress. Though the picture couldn’t do justice to this impeccable piece. This orange sling bag was added to this dress to mange the color effect. naaaa…I love orange color and so added it. 😛

      Heels: Zara

I got this bag for a friend but used it for this look first. I hope she will be happier to carry it now:).

Those double colored heels were so made for this dress and my decision of pairing these heels with the dress was appreciated at the shoot.
